What is the difference in the textures?

Nubian Locs are my signature style extremely textured, with a noticeable shine. Wrapped with 100% Human hair.

Bohemian Locs are created with coarse hair and have a dry appearance and extreme texture. 

Island Locs They are coarse, wavy and have blunt ends. Really giving you the Island look.

You can add on "Gypsy" to have loose curls distributed throughout the style! (A "Gypsy" add on will be human hair both throughout the locs)

 

How long will my Locs last?
Up to 4 months with proper maintenance.

 

Do I have to get the Locs the same color as my hair?

Of course this is completely up to your preference, but I do not recommend getting a color that is far from your natural tone unless you are prepared to get frequent retouches. As your hair grows out, the contrast between your hair and the locs will become more evident.

If you are interested in a specific color, highlights are a great option that look good for a lot longer!

 

Can you do faux Locs over regular locs?

Yes! I have performed this service over locs multiple times. However, Faux Locs can only be done over mature locs. If your hair has not fully loc’d yet, this style is not recommended.

 

How long does my hair have to be to get Locs?

If your hair is 2-3” inches you can get this style. You will need to book hair shorter than 4in as an add on.

If your hair is longer than 4” you can get any size or length.

 

Is hair included?

Hair and accessories are both included.

 

Hair prep:

Your hair must be clean to have the locs installed. Prior to the appointment please wash your hair and blow it out to stretch it out.

 

Is the deposit refundable?

All deposits are non-refundable.

 

If I need to reschedule, do I need to pay another deposit?

You will not have to pay another deposit to reschedule an appointment if you reschedule within 72 hours of your appointment date. However, if you do not reschedule before the 72 hour mark you will lose your deposit.

Do you take cash or card?

Your deposit must be paid online at the time of booking. Your remaining balance must be paid in cash.

 

 

Do you do shoulder length locs?

I do offer shoulder length locs. However, with the additional cutting, they end up taking the same amount of time as midlength so there is no difference in the price. If you'd like shoulder length please specify in the notes section when you book!

If your hair is longer than shoulder length and you book for this style we will have to do midlength or you will forfeit your appointment and incur any associated fees.

Can I wash my faux locs?

Yes! Just focus on your scalp.

 

Can I bring food?

Yes! and even a blanket, it can get a little cold. 

 

Where are you located? 

I am located downtown Houston 77003, exact location is given once deposit is paid. GUEST ARE NOT ALLOWED. Teens may be accompanied by one ADULT.

 

Appointments after 4:30pm and Saturday & Sunday appointment are an extra fee. You will need to select it when booking.
